Quinoa (White)

Known to the Incas as the mother of all grains, Quinoa is one of the healthiest and most nutritious food on the planet. Its high amount of fiber  more than twice as high as most grains, may increase feelings of fullness or satiety during a meal, making you eat fewer calories overall. It has both more and better protein than most grains which can increase metabolism and reduce appetite significantly. In fact, it has all nine essential amino acids, making it a complete protein. This makes Quinoa an excellent plant-based protein source for vegetarians and vegans. It is also loaded with important nutrients such as magnesium, B vitamins, iron, potassium, calcium, phosphorus, vitamin E and various beneficial antioxidants. All these properties make Quinoa an excellent aid in weight loss and in improving your overall health.
